This is my collection of masked mischief makers. (Not all pictured in group photo.)
The Picnic Thief:
This adorable raccoon likes to hang out in picnic baskets, especially those that are full of someone else’s lunch. The soft sculpture is about 3 1/2 inches long and 3 1/2 inches tall (to the top of the basket handle). This fuzzy picnic thief was handmade out of wool. The handle on the picnic basket is wired to make it stiff enough to stand and to hold the weight of the basket. However, the handle is not hinged and not intended to be lowered and raised. Each raccoon is custom-made and may vary slightly from the photograph. The pictured raccoon is in a yellow and brown basket with a red and white checkered tablecloth on the top, all made from wool.
The Trash Can Explorer:
This mischievous raccoon found a banana peel hat while searching for a snack in someone’s trash can. The soft sculpture is about 4 1/4 inches tall and 3 inches wide. This hungry raccoon was handmade completely out of wool. Each raccoon is custom-made and may vary slightly from the photograph. The pictured raccoon is in a grey trash can with a browning banana peel on his head and holding a stale piece of brown bread, all out of wool.
The Musical Raccoon (& his cousin, the vampire):
This musical raccoon found a guitar. He hasn’t learned to play it quite yet, but he’s at least gotten better at not dropping it. The soft sculpture is about 4 inches tall and 5 inches wide. This fuzzy raccoon was handmade completely out of wool. Each raccoon is custom-made and may vary slightly from the photograph. His equally musical cousin, the vampire raccoon, has offered to give him guitar lessons. The vampire raccoon is identical to the guitar raccoon, with the addition of a black cape and fangs.
The Summer Raccoon:
This summery raccoon is on his way to play in the nearest pool or river with his new inner-tube. He’s dressed for summer with his little flip-flops and sunglasses, and is waving at a friend in the distance. The soft sculpture is almost 4 1/2 inches tall. This fuzzy raccoon was handmade completely out of wool. Each raccoon is custom-made and may vary slightly from the photograph. The pictured raccoon has accessories out of kiwi (close to lime green) and sweet corn (pale yellow) wool. I have other color options listed (red/white, indigo/turquoise, hot pink/lavender), but am also happy to take requests!
The Birthday Raccoon:
This cute raccoon is having a birthday! He’s ready to celebrate his day (or yours) with a party hat and a big present. The soft sculpture is almost 5 inches tall. This fuzzy raccoon was handmade completely out of wool. Each raccoon is custom-made and may vary slightly from the photograph. The pictured raccoon has a hat made out of spearmint (pale green) and cotton candy (pink) wool. His present is wrapped in a dark teal wool with cotton candy colored wool ribbons and spearmint polka-dots.
The Chef Raccoon:
This cute raccoon is cooking something sweet! The soft sculpture is almost 4 1/2 inches tall. He was handmade completely out of wool using a process called needle felting, which takes several hours of very detailed work. Each raccoon is custom made and may vary slightly from the photograph. The pictured raccoon has a hat made out of undyed wool, a checkered red and white apron, a brown spoon, and a spearmint (pale green) bowl with brown batter – all from wool.
The Tennis Raccoon:
This adorable little raccoon loves tennis, and is looking forward to her next game! The soft sculpture is about 4 inches tall. This fuzzy raccoon was handmade out of wool using a process called needle felting, which takes several hours of very detailed work. Each raccoon is custom made and may vary slightly from the photograph. The pictured raccoon has a blue and white skirt, a blue sun visor, and a bright green tennis ball – all from wool. She’s also holding a brown tennis racket made from wool and wire. The ball and the racket are not repositionable, as they are felted onto the raccoon.
The Superhero Raccoon:
Brave, resourceful, and able to leap small trashcans in a single bound, this caped raccoon is ready to save the world. The soft sculpture is about 4 inches tall. This fuzzy superhero was handmade out of wool using a process called needle felting, which takes several hours of very detailed work. Each raccoon is custom made and may vary slightly from the photograph. The pictured raccoon has a bright pink cape, yellow gloves, yellow shoes, and a pink and yellow mask.
